Romney deixa o círculo conservador pegar fogo
“If you vote for Sen. Santorum, in effect you’re functionally voting for Gov. Romney to be the nominee because he’s not going to beat him,” Gingrich said. “The only way you can stop Gov. Romney for all practical purposes is to vote for Newt Gingrich. That’s just a fact. It’s a mathematical fact now.”
But Santorum has his own mathematical facts and, with some tough language of his own, he laid them out after the debate.
“If the issue is electability, we have two races,” he said. “Who’s more electable: the guy that finished first, or the guy that finished way behind in Iowa or the guy that finished behind me in New Hampshire?”
Mitt Romney teve, ontem, um debate que lhe correu de feição, com Gingrich e Santorum a disputar, entre si, os votos conservadores.
